A Note to First Time Users


Thank you for your interest in Personal Online. The box labeled “Click here to continue” at the bottom of this page will take you to the electronic enrollment form. Several quick items of information, most of which are self-explanatory, are needed to complete your enrollment.

  • In the first space, enter your Social Security or Employee Identification Number that you provided to the bank when you opened your account(s).

  • In the space labeled “Account Number 1”, enter the corresponding account number and select the correct “Account Type 1” from the drop down menu by clicking on the down arrow.

  • The “Security Question” and “Security Answer” fields are used for your protection. If you ever need to contact the bank for technical support or to have your password reset, the security question provided here will be asked so that we can be certain that you are the individual authorized to conduct transactions on this account. Questions and answers can be fun and simple but should not be obvious or easy to determine by others, e.g.
    Q: What is my favorite vacation spot? A: St. Thomas

    After successfully submitting your data, you will receive two envelopes in the mail within two to five days. One will contain your initial access ID and the other, your password. Once you receive this information, enter it in the “Log On” section for Personal Online at www.bankoftampa.com. The system will then require you to change your access ID and password to one you select. Additional details will be included with the information you receive in the mail.
